About the Role
An On-Site Logistics Role
What it is
This role prepares and resets the physical space so each Salon feels like a cozy living room—welcoming, ready, and set for a gathering. The team handles on-site logistics before and after the Salon so guests walk into an inviting space and leave a room that’s been properly closed out.
What You’ll DoNote: Some volunteers may do setup, breakdown, or both.
Before the Salon
Set up tables, chairs, and room layout per the plan
Arrange the space for good flow and conversation
Set up the check-in table and signage
Prepare food and drink stations (no serving)
Place basic AV equipment (mics, stands, cords, projector)
Make real-time layout adjustments if something isn’t working
After the Salon
Break down tables, chairs, and AV basics
Pack up signage, check-in materials, and supplies
Clean and reset the space as required
Leave the room as it was found (or better)

Basic hand tools and supplies on site
AV basics provided by the venue or Salon team
